William "Bill" Stephen Smith, 75, of the Savannah, MO, and St. Joseph areas, passed away March 10, 2024, at a local nursing home.
Bill was born June 24, 1948 in Gower, MO, to William A. and Velma (McMillian) Smith.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge.
Bill worked many different jobs throughout his life. He loved to fish, build things, "putter" around in his garage, and liked working in his yard.
Survivors include two children, Erica Smith, Stephen Smith; a brother Richard Smith; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two siblings.
