HARRISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 9p.m. Tuesday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Freightliner semi driven by Larry K. Burton, 72, Bethany, was northbound on Interstate 35 seven miles south of Bethany.
The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, struck an emergency crossover, became airborne, traveled across both southbound lanes and off the west side of the road into a ditch.
NTA ambulance transported Burton to Harrison County Community Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
