Pastor Evelyn June Kelley 79 of Cameron Missouri was called home to Glory Wednesday March 29, 2023. Born on July 14, 1943, in Cameron Missouri to Joshua and Serena (Tapp) Jackson. She attended school in Cameron and was a member of the Plattsburg Bowling league. She was the Pastor and founder of the Christ Shepherd Church in Cameron Missouri.
She married Preston Lee Kelley Sr. he preceded her in death on October 8, 2014. Also preceding her in death are her parents, daughter Penny Kelley, grandson Nicholas Hubbard; Brothers George, Herbert, Arnold, and Francis Jackson; sisters Edna Graham and Betty Jackson.
Survivors include her children Sonya K. Davis of Omaha NE; Elizabeth A. Bailey of Independence MO; Preston Lee Kelley Jr., of Independence MO; Stephanie D. Briscoe of Houston Texas. Her brother Larry Jackson of Cameron MO; 28 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren.
Homegoing service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday April 8, 2023, at the Davis Temple Pentecostal Church Plattsburg Missouri. Interment will be in the Mount Washington Cemetery Plattsburg.
