Extremely cold overnight with the low dipping down to 8 degrees in St. Joseph, prompting widespread school closings again throughout the area.
St. Joseph Public Schools have canceled classes today. The closing includes all elementary, middle, and high schools as well as the Virtual Academy, Hillyard Technical Center, Webster, Keatley’s Adult Education classes, and the Early Learning Center.
Savannah has called off classes today.
There are school closings throughout the region. School officials mostly cite road conditions for the reason to call off classes.

A warming trend begins today.
In fact, the temperature will warm throughout today under sunny skies with a high forecast to be 41.
Mostly clear and 28 overnight with a high of 50 for Saturday.
