ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 11p.m. Monday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Ford F150 driven by Jordan O. Dennis-Westen, 26, St. Joseph, was southbound on the ramp from Business 71 to Interstate 29 three miles north of St. Joseph.
The driver lost control of the pickup on the ice. The pickup struck the road, overturned and came to rest on its top.
A private vehicle transported Dennis-Westen and a passenger Darian E. Cockriel, 26, St. Joseph to Mosaic Life Care. A baby in the vehicle was not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
