Joshua "Josh" Douglas Hilliard, 47, of St. Joseph, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. He was a loving & devoted husband, uncle, son, & loyal friend.
Josh was born June 23, 1978, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of George & Brenda (Harding) Hilliard.
Josh graduated from Lafayette High School in 1996. He went on to eventually find a long-term tenure with Lowe's, for 23 years. He was the current kitchen manager at the Gower Convalescent Center.
Josh met Jennifer "Jenn" Ann (Scott) in 1999 and they quickly became inseparable. They were married on September 15, 2001. For nearly 27 years they had barely left each other's side. Jenn survives in the home, along with their 2 adorable girl pups, Rebel & Riot.
Josh was a loved & respected member of the local fire performance group, PyroFlow. He performed fire breathing & fire bubble acts with his beloved wife, Jenn for the past 7 years.
Josh loved traveling, concerts, movies, music, cooking, camping, hunting, and fishing.
Josh is survived by, George and Michele Hilliard of Michigan; his brother, Jarod Hilliard & fiancée, Courtney Maurer; his niece, Layla Hilliard; his nephews, Preston, & Bennett Hilliard; godson, Layne D; and numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Preceding Josh in death are his mother Brenda (Harding) Hilliard, grandparents Farrell & Doris (Hayes) Harding, & 3 beloved pets, Pepper, Cloud, & Cooper.
