Missouri Gov. Mike Parson has appointed Alex Van Zandt of Bethany as Associate Circuit Judge for Mercer County in the 3rd Judicial Circuit.
Van Zandt, the Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney, holds a Bachelors of Arts in political science and business from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Van Zandt fills the vacancy created by the election of the Honorable Matthew Krohn as Circuit Judge who is unopposed in the 2024 General Election.
Parson also has appointed Micha Dixon of Jamesport as Associate Circuit Judge for Daviess County in the 43rd Judicial Circuit.
Dixon is the attorney for the 43rd Judicial Circuit Juvenile Office and an assistant prosecuting attorney in the 43rd Judicial Circuit. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and criminology and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
Dixon will fill the vacancy created by the election of the Honorable Daren Adkins as Circuit Judge who is unopposed in the General Election.
