Tony D. Barnes, 61, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025.
He was born on July 19, 1963, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Clarence and Mollie (Hook) Barnes.
Tony lived a life full of joy and simple pleasures, devoting his free time to the things he loved most like working on lawn mowers, tinkering with cars, reeling in a big catch while fishing, wrestling, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, trying his luck at the casino, and the thrill of scratching lottery tickets.
Tony's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his sisters Judy Barnes, Betty Sage, Linda (Bill) Ditmar, Debbie Lou; brother, Clarence Barnes Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a community of friends who were all like family to him. He now joins his parents; his brother Robert Barnes Sr.; nephews Bobby Barnes Jr., Ricky Lewis Jr., Dakota Lewis; niece Maria Barnes and sister-in-law Stacey Barnes.
His memory will be lovingly remembered for all those he leaves behind.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
