Mustangs run rule Nevada on the road Sunday to stay undefeated

The St. Joseph Mustangs exploded with 10 runs in the seventh inning to slam the door on Nevada in a 15-0 victory Sunday at Lyons Stadium in Nevada.

Easton Bruce had a huge day at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three runs scored and a whopping seven RBIs. Bruce had a triple and a home run.

Savannah alum Dakota Spicer and Lafayette grad Ike Book each had a pair of hits in the win. Fellow Lafayette product Cole Slibowski had a couple of RBIs as well.

On the mound, Mason Holton got the win in six innings, striking out six and walking only two. 

The Mustangs (3-0) stay on the road Monday to face the Joplin Outlaws. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
