Francis Bremer October 17, 1941-January 14, 2026

Francis Andrew Bremer, 84, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away January 14, 2026.  Francis was born October 17, 1941, in Ravenwood, MO, to John and Dorothy (Reed) Bremer.

Francis served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era; receiving an honorable discharge on June 14, 1967.  He retired as an electrician with Owens & Corning Fiberglass in Kansas City, Kansas.

Survivors include his children, Annette Hollars (Louis), John Bremer (Sheryl), Patricia Kendrick (Dave); six grandchildren, Travis, Ashley, and Hunter Hollars, Brittany Bremer, Claire and Tyler Kendrick; six great-grandchildren, Carson and Kingston Adkins, Cannon Hollars, Ember and Willow Taylor, and Saige Hollars; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Deanna and his parents.

He enjoyed helping with the Boy Scouts and square dancing.  He loved camping, fishing, and boating, and was a member of the  Midwest Camping Club.

Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop 235 in care of Nodaway Valley Bank.

Services will be Monday, January 19, 2026 at 10:00 am at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.  Entombment and military honors will follow at the Mausoleum in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
