DEKALB COUNTY—A Missouri teen was injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Saturday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Honda Civic driven by a 16-year-old girl from Excelsior Springs, was northbound on U.S. 69 at Route EE just north of Cameron.
The car traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The car traveled off the west side of the road and overturned.
Cameron EMS transported the teen to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
