COVID-19 hospitalizations and cases are continuing to trend downward in Buchanan County.
St. Joseph health officials report 104 new positive cases of coronavirus, 33 on Friday and 71 cumulatively between Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The three day weekend numbers are not finalized due to Lincoln's birthday on Friday and state offices were closed.
Health officials also report one new death due to COVID complications, a woman in her 80's.
The Buchanan County positivity rate continues to decline dropping 5.74%, to 15.63%.
Mosaic Life Care reports 36 COVID patients system wide with 35 in St. Joseph and one in Maryville.
