Everett Allen Meade 80, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 in St. Joseph. He was born July 6, 1945 in Pattonsburg, MO, son of the late Vera and Kenneth Meade. He graduated from Benton High School in 1963. He served in the Army, and he is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver, and at Altec Industries as an assembly worker for many years. Everett enjoyed to hunt, fish, play cards, and loved football. He was a Chiefs fan for life. He liked giving his wife a hard time, and would tear things apart with his step dad and never put them back together, because who needs an instruction manual?
Everett was preceded in death by his parents, step-dad, Gordon Root, son, Anthony "Tony" Thomas Meade, brothers, Roger Meade and Joe Meade, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include: wife, Connie Meade of the home, daughter, Elizabeth (Keoki) Kaahea, son, Kenneth (Jessica) Meade of Vanceborough, NC, grandchildren, Shelby, Kyrie, CeciliaJean, Everett, Kayla (Isha), and Kenneth Jr., and great-grandson, Mahalo.
