HOLT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Monday in Holt County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Honda passenger vehicle driven by Timmothy M. Henzel, 34, Bellvue, NE., was eastbound on Interstate 29 eight miles south of Oregon.

The car attempted to pass a 2007 GMC Sierra drive by Tyson L. Gibbons, 46, Tarkio,&nbsp; and then rear-ended a 2011 International MODOT snow plow. 

After the collision, the Honda skid into the driving lane. The GMC pickup struck the Honda.

Atchison-Holt EMS transported Henzel to Mosaic Life Care. There were no other injuries reported. All three drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
