ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 12:20p.m. Wednesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Harley Davidson Sportster driven by a 35-year-old Gower man and a 2015 Harley Davidson FXDL driven by a 22-year-old St. Joseph man were northbound on Business 71 four miles south of Savannah.
The driver of the 1997 Harley initiated a left turn at a median crossover. The driver of the 2015 Harley failed to observe the 1997 Harley and sideswiped it.
Andrew County EMS transported the Gower man to Mosaic. A private vehicle transported the St. Joseph man to Mosaic. They were not wearing helmets, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
