BROWN COUNTY —A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Thursday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Freightliner semi driven by Isaac K. Kering, 61, Lawrance, was northbound on U.S. 75 at 270th.
The semi struck a northbound 2016 Chrylser 300 driven by Kaylee D. Finney, 16, Axtell, who was attempting a u-turn.
EMS transported a passenger in the Chrysler Theresa D. Walle, 15, Axtell to the hospital in Sabetha.
Kering, Finney and a 16-year-old boy in the Chrysler were not injured. Walle was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
