The NFL has suspended Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark for two games for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
The news was first reported from NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero on Tuesday.
The suspension for Clark, who recorded a sack and a half along with a safety in Sunday's win over the 49ers, stems from his no contest plea in September to two counts of misdemeanor possession of an assault weapon in separate incidents in 2021.
Clark was sentenced to one year of probation and 40 hours of community service for the no contest plea.
The Chiefs have a bye week in Week 8, meaning Clark will be absent when they come back on November 6th against the Tennessee Titans as well as the November 13th matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Clark will be eligible to return when the Chiefs travel to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for an AFC West rivalry matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.
