Mark Allen Bigham, 56, of Gower, MO passed away December 25th at his home.
Mark was born March 11, 1967 to James Edward Bigham and Ruth (Henkowski) Bigham.
Mark graduated from Central High School in 1985 and attended Missouri Western State University. He was in the United States Navy for four years. Mark devoted his life to caring for others. He spent over 30 years working at Heartland/Mosaic Life Care. First, as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room for ten years where he was an extremely valuable and versatile teammate. He then went on to become a Registered Vascular Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab as well as the Schedule Coordinator. Mark was equally valued in both places and his teammates always felt more comfortable when he was there to help. In 2020 Mark's love for the veterans drew him to work for the cath lab at the VA Hospital in Kansas City.
Mark is survived by: his significant other, Dianna McKinney. His siblings, Stephen (Kim) Bigham, Jamie (Mark) Neu, Diane (Jim ) Anderson, Marlene (Terry) Seiter, twin brother John (Kelly) Bigham, Marty (Amy) Bigham, stepbrother Steve Bunkowski; stepfather Norbert Bunkowski; stepmother Rosalie Bigham; Dianna's son's Tyler (Samie) McKinney, Ted McKinney (granddaughter -Kynzlee-”Mark's favorite girl”), and Dianna's father Robert Stark. Numerous loving family members; lifetime friend Tony Claycomb. Faithful canine and best bud Rudy.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, sister Susan Bigham,stepsister Heather Riley and Sharon Stark.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 30th at 1:00pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Service to follow at 2:00pm.
