ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a domestic disturbance that occurred May 26 at a home in the 500 Block of North 10th in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
On June 3, police arrested 34-year-old Anthony W. Lunsford of Atchison, on a District Court warrant for violation of a protective order, theft, domestic battery, and intimidation of a witness.
In May, Lunsford was jailed on requested charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property in connection with an incident that occurred on April 19. Lunsford has spent time in custody numerous times over the past five years and was convicted of theft, according to online jail records.
He is being held on a $10,000 bond, according to online jail records.
