Derrick "Rick" A. Koelliker, 54, of St. Joseph, Missouri; passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 9, 2025, at his home.
Rick was born in St. Joseph, Missouri to Terry and Joyce (Moden) Koelliker. He graduated from Wathena High School in Wathena, Kansas. Most recently worked as a cashier for Churches Chicken in St. Joseph, Missouri, and previously at Jerry Anne's as a cook.
Rick enjoyed singing karaoke, going to the casino, working with his friends, and spending time with his friends and family.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Koelliker. Survivors include: his father; Terry (Diana) Koelliker, Brothers; Dallas Koelliker and David Harrison, Sisters; Carla Koelliker and Mellony Rucas. Along with numerous nieces and nephews: Heather & Chase Koelliker, Kelsey White, Wesley White, Holden White, Jason Rucas, Justin Rucas, and Wendy Rucas.
A Celebration of Life for Rick will be held on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 at 7:00PM at Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel in St. Joseph, Missouri, officiated by celebrant, Rex Strayer. The family will receive friends from Tuesday, April 15th from 5:00-7:00 PM, before the Celebration of Life. Cremation to follow services.
