Donna Mae Dunn, 67, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026.
She was born January 28, 1959 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Francis O. and Susan V. (Boone) Higgins.
Donna married William “Bill” J. Dunn on November 3, 1995, and together they shared a marriage built on love, companionship, and mutual devotion.
Faith was an important part of Donna’s life, and she loved going to church at Calvary Baptist.
Donna also cherished time spent with family at Truman Lake. Those moments were among her most treasured, filled with laughter, conversation, and the peaceful beauty of being together in a place she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jesse Dunn; siblings, Sharon Smith (Gene), Gary Higgins, Andrea Sutherland, and Carol Helen.
Survivors include her husband, Bill; children, Tonia Stallman, James Dunn, and Tony Meers (Katrina); grandchildren, Bruce Meers, III, Jessica Meers, Hailey Meers, Mallory Sherlock, Joey Maddox, Jr., Brandy Parks, Josiah Griffin, Cheyenne Sears, and Taylor Dunn; great grandchildren, Logan, Brayzden, Ryon, Kazlynn, Kripten, Davian, Aayla, Mariah, Axel, and Leiran; brothers, Loren Higgins and Forrest Higgins (Mary); numerous nieces and nephews.
