TANEY COUNTY —A Missouri man died while swimming just before 1:30p.m. Saturday at Table Rock Lake.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol a 25-year-old Parkville man swam from the shore at Moonshine Beach at on Table Rock Lake. The man struggled in the water, dropped beneath the surface and did not resurface.
EMS pronounced him deceased at the scene.
This is the ninth drowning of 2026 for MSHP Troop D. The Patrol no longer releases names of drowning victims.
