Ronnie Dale Thompson Jr, 30, passed away April 19, 2026, at his home.
Ronnie was born on November 28, 1995, in Atchison, KS to Ronnie and Jamie Thompson. He attended West Platte High school and Nicolas County High School in Carlisle, KY. Ronnie enjoyed drawing, and spending time with friends and loved ones and his dog Auddie. Ronnie was a simple person with his own life struggles. He loved hanging out with his brothers and his dog, (that he rescued from a homeless camp). She was beside him at the time of his passing. Ronnie loved life. If he had it and you needed it, he’d give what he had. He loved making music and playing guitar. As a child he excelled at baseball and football. He played football in Kentucky for the Indians and NC Bluejays. Ronnie worked for his dad in the construction field. He also liked working on cars, fixing and painting them. Ronnie had many friends along the way and liked everyone. If you had a problem that you couldn’t solve, he’d look at things in a different way and find a solution to even the toughest problems.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister Cassie (Amazing) Thompson, Paternal grandfather Roger Thompson, His maternal Grandfather Harold Faudere and his uncle Marty Kenworthy and close friend Willie Walker.
He is survived by his parents, bothers Rylee and Phoenix, his dog Auddie, his grandmother Carolyn Carter, Grandfather Owen Carter, grandmother Sandra Faudere, Uncle Steve Carter, aunts; Samantha Lassen, Dawn (Mike) Frad, Krissy Kenworthy, good friend Kimberly Wasson (Buckler) and several cousins.
A visitation will be held at the Vaughn funeral Home on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10-11am and Services at 11am. Burial will be at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery following the service. Family has suggested Memorial donation to Vaughn Funeral Home to defray the funeral expenses. Arrangements By: Vaughn Funeral Home, Weston, MO.
