Larry “Butch” Masoner, 78, of Edgerton, MO passed away, February 7, 2026.
He was born on January 10, 1948 to Ralph Leroy and Helen Pauline (Heiserman) Masoner in Kansas City, MO. Butch grew up in Edgerton, MO where he attended school. He then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
On November 27, 1971 he was united in marriage to Sandra Keene. After their marriage they lived in Edgerton where they made their home.
Butch worked at Cook Paint and Varnish in Kansas City, MO for 37 years. He enjoyed woodworking, karaoke, classic cars, sketching and making music videos.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was very strong in his faith.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sonjia Rogers.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Shane (Lucinda) Masoner and Brandon (Sammy) Masoner; grandchildren, Lincoln, Austin, Addison, and Aven; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 11th at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton, MO with visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.Burial with Military Honors: Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely, MO.
