Robert Bob "Smokey" Henry Guinn Sr. 80, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in a St. Joseph, MO hospital. He was born November 5, 1943 in Protection, KS, son of the late Mary Catherine and Dallas Guinn. He married Barbara Throckmorton on March 20, 1986, and she survives of the home. Bob worked at Auto Salvage Business for 50 years. He enjoyed working on cars, going to church, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of the Evangelistic Temple Church.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Leo and Thomas Guinn. Survivors include: wife, Barbara Jean Guinn of the home, six children: Robin Cooley (John), Robert Henry (Lauren) Guinn Jr., Nancy (Marcel) Salinus, Terry Throckmorton, Carrie Ann (Ryan) Campbell, and Barry (Cristy) Throckmorton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters, Virgie Dalby and Dalla Coursen, and a brother, James D. Guinn, as well as several nieces and nephews.
