Nancy Kay Neidel 84, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 in a St. Joseph Hospital. She was born April 2, 1941 daughter of the late Alberta and Donald Greiner. She enjoyed growing up on the Holt County Family Farm. She graduated from Oregon High School and Central Methodist University, in Fayette, MO. with a bachelor of science in music.
Nancy worked in the Trucking Industries, then as a grain buyer for Gumbert Exchange upon their closing she went to work for Walgreens. She enjoyed riding horses, and was a barrel racer in rodeo competitions, she also loved car racing. Nancy was a member of the Oregon Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Donnie and Ronnie Neidel, daughters, Nancy Younger and Ronda Smith. Survivors include husband, A. M. "Bud" Neidel of the home, son JR (Carla) Neidel, of St. Joseph, MO. daughter Linda Neidel of St. Joseph, MO, brother, D.A. (Sharon) Greiner of Oregon, MO, 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A special Thank You to her caregiver Patty.
The family will receive friends from 2- 4:00 PM on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 10:00 am, Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, The Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
