COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Athletics and the Boone County Clerk's office have announced that Mizzou Arena will serve as a polling location for the 2020 Election in November. It will be one of the largest voting centers in the state of Missouri.

The facility will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT on Nov. 3.  To find your polling location, visit  https://www.showmeboone.com/clerk/notices/polling-locations.pdf.

As part of the SEC Council on Racial Equity and Social Justice, which includes men's basketball head coach Cuonzo Martin and five Tiger student-athletes, Mizzou is helping launch and implement the league's new Voter Education Participation Program. Through the initiative, Mizzou Athletics is assisting its student-athletes in the voter registration process and providing educational sessions and resources from community experts for student-athletes, coaches and staff.

Mizzou Athletics worked in conjunction with Boone County to set up Mizzou Arena as a 2020 polling location and help ensure that registered voters can easily and conveniently participate in this essential part of the nation's democratic process.

The deadline to register for in-person voting on Nov. 3 in the state of Missouri is Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Social distancing and face coverings are required on University property and will be expected on Election Day at Mizzou Arena. The University of Missouri guidance regarding social distancing and face coverings can be found at https://renewal.missouri.edu/safety-expectations/.
