Patients with the St. Joseph Health Department are being notified their personal information might have been compromised due to the June 9th data breach.
The City of St. Joseph says these notices are intended to alert potentially impacted individuals of the incident and the steps the city is taking in wake of the breach. St. Joseph city officials report the following information could have been acquired and disclosed by an unauthorized third party: first name, last name, date of birth, driver's license number or state identification number, passport number, Social Security number, and medical diagnosis of treatment information.
The city says it is committed to helping those people who may have been impacted by the data breach.
