Tracy L. (Soltys) Clark, 56, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, surrounded by family. She fought hard against cancer for years, right up to the very end.
She was born September 6, 1966 in St. Joseph to Ronnie and Dixie (Fetty) Soltys. Tracy graduated from Benton High School, Class of 1984.
Tracy was office manager at Pinnacle Electric for 23 years.
She expressed her creativity with crafts, making T-shirts and jewelry, among many other items, for friends and family.
Tracy loved her family and they meant the world to her. She loved being with them for holidays, especially at Christmas. She was an amazing cook and leaves wonderful memories of favorite dishes.
While known for being ornery and feisty, Tracy was also a very spiritual person who helped guide her family. Her strength during her cancer fight was an inspiration to all.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Soltys; her stepfather, Don Furr; and brother-in-law, Lee Grooms.
Survivors include her sons, Brandon Reel (Kaylee Morton), and Tyson Clark; granddaughter, Azara Knight; mother, Dixie Furr; stepmother, Addie Greenwell; siblings, Shelly Grooms, Joy Davies (Gary), Darrell Furr (Shanda), and Tim Weatherd; numerous other extended family members and friends; and her beloved dog, Boomer.
