The Duffman returns.

Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy is set to return from the 10 day IL and will be back on the mound to start Wednesday night's game against the New York Yankees. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.

Duffy went on the injury list back on May 17th with a flexor strain in his left arm. Prior to the injury Duffy, was a bright spot in the Royals rotation, bolstering a 1.94 ERA, despite a 4-3 record.

In a corresponding move, Kansas City has optioned right hander Jackson Kowar back to Triple-A Omaha. Kowar struggled to get going with the Royals, making two starts and only pitching five innings. His ERA was 18.00.
