Kelby Andrew Moore, 39 of Helena, MO passed away May 10, 2024. He was born February 27, 1985 in Nodaway County to Bob Glidewell and Janece Boyd. He married the love of his life Corinne Brown in Fort Morgan, AL on July 31, 2018 and she survives of the home.
Kelby was a loving father and husband, which he put first above other things. He would move heaven and earth for his family and worked extremely hard to make sure they had what they needed. Kelby was a leading-edge and superb carpenter starting his own business in 2017. He was a proud member of the Local 945 Carpenters Union and was currently working for Herner Construction. Kelby loved to teach and mentor in this trade. Kelby was the fun, goofy uncle all kids wish they had and he always had a smile on his face. He was trusting, caring, and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. Kelby loved baseball and coaching his son’s team. He had the motto, “I can, I will!” and made sure every boy knew that and believed it.
Survivors include his loving wife Corinne Moore, amazing children Memphis, Harper, KarrLie and Emma; parents, Bob (Terry) Glidewell and Janece (Ron) Boyd; brothers, Justin Moore and Cory Glidewell, an step siblings Salisha, Brandon, and Andy; paternal grandmother Ruthie Glidewell; In-Laws to include Stephen and Angela Brown, Paul and Elizabeth Leslie, and Trevor and Jessica Heidrick; as well as numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding Kelby in death are his maternal grandparents Billy and Myrna Moore, as well as, paternal grandfather Ernie Glidewell.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm on May 22nd at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. A dinner will be hosted at the Helena Community Center at 4:00 pm on May 22nd.
