Patricia A. (Spiek) Whitley, of St. Joseph, passed away September 9, 2023. She was born January 20, 1937 in Faucett, MO, to Johanna and Ignacious Spiek.
She graduated from Faucett High School and worked at KFEQ-AM/TV and Seitz Foods; retiring from Sara Lee in 2001.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Eddie, Henry, Clarence and six sisters, Margaret Carney, Clara Gillespie, Gertie Dale, Frances Downing, Loretta Judy and Josephine Studer.
Survivor is her son Edward J. Whitley (Angi) and several nieces and nephews.
Patricia was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and also was a contributor to many charities.
Memorial service will be Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10:00 am at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 6:00 pm followed by visitation until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
