A former St. Joseph School Board member faces driving-while-intoxicated and weapons charges after being stopped by St. Joseph police.
69-year-old Kenneth Reeder is scheduled to appear before St. Joseph Municipal Court late next month to face charges stemming from the stop. Court records report a St. Joseph police officer stopped Reeder in the early morning hours of August 14th near the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Highland Avenue.
Reeder lost his bid for re-election during the April 3rd election, coming in 6th in a crowded field. Reeder served on the St. Joseph School Board from 2021 to 2024.
