HOLT COUNTY—Two people avoided serious injury after a violent crash just after noon Tuesday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Colorado driven by Heidi N. Blacketer, 39, Savannah, was northbound on MO 111 just north of U.S. 59, city limits of Big Lake.
The driver attempted to pass another vehicle. The pickup traveled off the road, struck the entrance to a driveway, became airborne and overturned.
Blacketer and a 17-year-old passenger from Craig refused medical treatment at the scene. They were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
