The St. Joseph Mustangs rallied back to tie the game in the ninth inning and hit a walk off single in extra innings to extend their win streak to seven games beating the Kansas City Monarchs 6-5 at Phil Welch Stadium.
Going into the bottom of the ninth inning the Monarchs held a 5-2 lead over the Mustangs, but St. Joseph would rally and score three runs to tie the game, sending it to extras. A walk off single in the 11th inning would give the Mustangs their seventh win in a row.

The Mustangs are back in action on Friday for a second game against the Kansas City Monarchs. First pitch is at 7pm at Phil Welch Stadium. They are also at home on Saturday against the Ban Johnson Raiders.
