Marilyn Fern McCallon, 77 of Helena, passed from this life Friday, May 26, 2023 in St. Joseph. She was born April 13, 1946 to Olen Allen “Smokey” & Lucella (VanMeter) Walker.
Marilyn was a loving, fun, and goofy person who loved her family to the very end of her life. She was the #1 fried chicken fan. She enjoyed bingo, country western music, and she loved the Lord and wasn’t afraid to talk about her Savior. She was a long time member of Helena Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Brenda (Bruce Dunn) Tritten of Helena, Michael (Lisa) McCallon of Rosendale, Mark (Jennifer) McCallon of St. Joseph, and Marty (Cynthia) McCallon of St. Joseph; sister, Donna Maddox of Helena, brother Ralph Walker of Savannah ; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melissa McCallon; granddaughter, Samantha Vaughn; sister, Linda Pike; Brother, Richard Walker; and infant brother, Norman Walker.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be 6:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, MO. Funeral Services Will be 10 am Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home Savannah, Mo. Inurnment will be in Helena Cemetery at a later date.
