Johnny L. Elliott, 56, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
He was born August 30, 1968 to Jackie and Mary (Carter) Elliott in Carrollton, Georgia. He graduated from Waller High School.
Johnny married Patricia D. Bland on August 7, 1992. He owned and operated John’s Quick Lube.
He was a man of quiet strength and boundless heart, the kind of person who found joy in the simple things and purpose in helping others. His hands, rough from years of hard work, could tenderly coax life from the soil, growing the most vibrant flowers and bountiful gardens, each bloom a reflection of his care and love for the world around him.
If something was broken, he’d fix it. No hesitation, no fuss, just the steady belief that everything could be mended with time, tools, and a little determination. That same spirit extended to people too. He never turned away someone in need, always offering his time, his wisdom, or simply a listening ear.
But above all, his favorite place was being surrounded by family. Whether it was having a barbecue, a Sunday visit, or a spur-of-the-moment road trip, he was happiest when the people he loved were close. And when the cards were on the table, quite literally. his eyes lit up with that mischievous sparkle, always ready for a good time and a better story to come with it.
He lived life to the fullest with his heart wide open, full of love, laughter, and the kind of goodness that never fades.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Roy Jue Bailey.
Survivors include his wife; children, Jonathan and Alexis Elliott; grandchildren, Kaiden, Sterling, and Hadleigh Elliott; and sister, Jackie Elliott.
Cremation under the direction of Simplify Cremations & Funerals.
