Tim Conley, 66, Clarksdale, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026.
He was born June 29, 1959 in Groton, Massachusetts, to William and Norma (Smyth) Conley. Tim grew up in Groton and graduated from the Lawrence Academy. He then earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Bentley University.
A chance meeting after college with the owner of a large Angus cattle operation led to a job in Northwest Missouri, overseeing her farms. He liked it here, being in “the middle of everything.”
Tim found his soulmate when he met Tammie Komer. The pair wed on September 9, 2009, and embarked on a special relationship filled with love and laughter.
Tim was a huge Chiefs fan, and also greatly enjoyed his “other” job of operating the Zamboni machine at Bode Ice Arena for 16 years. He was an outgoing, ornery guy with a good sense of humor who made friends wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Bill Conley; and favorite aunt, Jean Morrison.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie; sons, Jake Conley, Jeff Conley, and Jayden Deatherage; grandson, Dean Deatherage; siblings, Barbara Beyer (Carl) and Richard Conley; nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends; and his beloved dog, Chief.
