Larry Lee Crockett passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.
A Graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Graceland Cemetery in Weston, Missouri. The family suggests contributions be given to The American Legion or Wounded Warriors Project. Larry was born in Weston, Missouri on December 26, 1942, to J.R. and Barbara Lee (Berry) Crockett.
Larry was a 1961 graduate of West Platte High School. Larry married Betty May Anderson, on December 30, 1962, in Rapid City, SD. Larry was a member of the U.S. Air Force joining June 0f 1961. After his service in the military he worked for TWA for 38 years as Service manager. He also mowed for the special Road District and was an active member of the American Legion Post 501 and the Masonic lodge. He enjoyed mowing his lawn also.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jesse Ray (Pee Wee) Crockett.
Larry is survived by: his wife Betty May (Anderson) Crockett, two sons; Jimmie (Donna) Crockett, Darrin (Jan) Crockett, a sister, Patty Wade, three grandchildren and nine Great-Grandchildren.
