Charles Elmer Shields, 78, Maryville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025.
He was born February 2, 1947 in St. Joseph, Missouri to C. Herschel and Mildred (Smith) Shields. He graduated from Nodaway Holt High School in Graham, Missouri in 1965.
Charles served his country in the Army National Guard, and was a member of the James Edward Gray Post 100 American Legion in Maryville, Missouri.
He was owner/operator of Shields Trucking and participated in the Colorado wheat harvest.
Survivors include his sons, Charles W. and Brandon S. Shields; sister, Linda Schreffler; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
