ANDREW COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after noon Wednesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Kia Seltos driven by an 85-year-old Savannah man attempted to cross the southbound lanes of Business 71 onto John Glenn Road. The driver failed to yield. A 1999 Ford Ranger driven by a 79-year-old Amazonia man collided with the Kia.
Andrew County EMS transported the Kia driver to Mosaic. There were no other injuries reported. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
