BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Kawasaki Sport bike driven by Dakotah L. Runnels, 33, St. Joseph, was northbound on the Belt Highway at County Line Road in St. Joseph.
The motorcycle rear-ended a 2008 Mercury Milan driven by Kily D. Etchells-Crowe, 33, St. Joseph, who was stopped at a traffic light.
Buchanan County EMS transported a 10-year-old St. Joseph boy in the car to Mosaic Life Care. Runnels and Etchells-Crowe were not injured. The occupants of the car were properly restrained and Runnels was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
