A 34-year-old St. Joseph man wanted in the shooting death of a 25-year-old woman in St. Joseph has been taken into custody.
St. Joseph police report Michael Hadden was arrested by officers around 10:30 last night without incident. No details are being released at this time.
Police had been searching for Hadden since February 23rd.
Hadden is the suspect in the shooting which critically wounded 25-year-old Minda Miller. Police at the time said Miller sustained a life-threatening wound. Police now confirm Miller has died from the wound.
Police say Hadden and Miller argued out on the street in the 1100 block of 11th Street around 8 p.m. on the 23rd.
Hadden allegedly pulled a gun, shot Miller and then fled the scene in a car. Miller was rushed to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
