Nancy Miller, 64, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
She was born September 17, 1959 in Elmo, Kansas to Robert and Claudine (Darby) Cutberth
Nancy married Mark Montgomery Miller on May 25, 1986. He survives of the home.
She taught at Humboldt and Bessie Ellison elementary schools for many years. After retirement, she continued as a reading teacher at Lindbergh Elementary. Her colleagues and students were like family to her.
Nancy loved being at the Lake of the Ozarks, watching her children and grandchildren go swimming, tubing and water-skiing. She enjoyed going out with The Girls to visit wineries and Mexican restaurants. She also enjoyed crocheting hats, stuffed animals and other items for family, friends and others.
A loving wife, mother and Nana, Nancy had an incredibly strong faith in God, which shaped every facet of how she lived her life and was an inspiration to her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cutberth.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Mark; her children, Blake Miller (McKayla) and Taylor Clinton (Beau); grandchildren, Rowan, Everett, Dane, and Remi June; her mother, Claudine Cutberth; and siblings, Cindy Mills (Mark), Jeff Cutberth (Dena), and Marcia Gordon (Jim).
The family will gather with friends 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 6, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
