Steven Griffith (71) of Liberty, MO passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on January 22nd, 2021 while vacationing in Carillon Beach, FL with his wife Jacklyn.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 2:00pm at Ashland United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Blakely Cemetery in Easton, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Steven was born in St. Joseph, MO to Vincil and Lois Griffith on September 14th, 1949. He went to school at Benton High School. He married Jacklyn on June 6th , 1969. He graduated from Missouri Western and later obtained his MBA from Keller. He worked as a sales engineer and later started his own business in Springfield, MO until his retirement. Steven later lived out his life as an author and published three books under the name of Steven Ira.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents Vincil and Lois Griffith.
Steven is survived by his wife, Jacklyn, his sons Michael and Jeffrey, his brothers David and Mark, and his grandchildren Ava, Hannah, William, Ashlyn, and Blake.
