Rachel (Vertin) Euler, 69, of Wathena, KS., passed away on March 23, 2026, with family by her side.
Rachel was born on April 11, 1956, to Lambert & Virginia (Tarter) Vertin. She married Doug Euler on May 15, 1998. She was a retired Teamster working at Affiliated Food & St. Joseph Packaging. She ended her working career as Activity Director at Wathena Healthcare where she so enjoyed her co-workers, the residents, and all of the families she met through those years. She was always excited to watch her granddaughters & was a big fan of Trojan Softball! She always enjoyed her flowers and feeding those who entered her kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her husband Doug & her parents. Rachel is survived by her son Kyle McConnaughey, Troy, KS. Two bonus daughters, Jenny (Tommy)Burnett, St. Joseph, MO., Tiffany (Devon) Simpson, Decatur, IL., Brother, Butch (Karen)Vertin, St. George, UT., Sister, Debbie (John)Kersey, Lee's Summit, MO. Seven grandchildren, Emma, Gracy & Abby McConnaughey, Paige (Tavo) Burnett, Natalie Burnett, Tyler Smith & Claire Simpson. One Great grandson Colson Hamilton. She always said she was blessed with the best family, friends, & neighbors a person could have.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Saturday, April 4, 2026.
At the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas.
