Boil advisory issued for water customers in Savannah and Fillmore

Savannah city officials have issued a boil advisory after a water main break.

The boil advisory covers both Savannah city water customers and the city of Fillmore, which buys water from Savannah. The boil advisory will stay in effect until further notice.

Work is ongoing to fix the water main break. After the water main is fixed, water will be tested before the boil advisory is lifted.
