BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 6:30p.m. Friday in Buchanan County.
A 2016 Nissan Sentra driven by Dallis M. Wartenbee,21, Omaha, Nebraska was southbound on Interstate 29 just south of U.S. 36. The Nissan rear-ended a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Tavian M. Misner, 24, St. Joseph who had slowed in traffic ahead due to construction. He was ejected from the motorcycle. The Harley Davidson then struck a 2003 Cadillac CTS driven by Trisha D. Williams, 29, St. Joseph.
EMS transported Misner to Mosaic Life Care. The other drivers were not injured. Misner was wearing a helmet and Wartenbee and Williams were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
