ATCHISON COUNTY —Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the American Legion in the 1600 block South 6th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The crime occurred shortly before 2a.m. on Sunday. Forced entry was made into a safe and cash was taken.
Police released no additional details.
