During a recent Atchison Kansas County Commission meeting, the members officially closed out the previous year and elected new leadership roles. Commissioner James Campbell motioned to keep Casey Quinn as Commission Chair, which was unanimously approved. Quinn then nominated Campbell for the vice-chair position, which was also approved unanimously. The Commission decided to maintain its meeting schedule for 2026 until a replacement is found for outgoing Commissioner Eric Noll. Other organizational matters for the new year, such as banking decisions and board placements, were also discussed during the meeting.
